Ischemia
an imbalance between oxygen supply and demand [toggle]
Ischemic heart disease
a condition of lowered oxygen supply or increased oxygen demand of the heart, often caused by chronically blocked coronary arteries [toggle]
Myocardial
referring to the heart muscle [toggle]
Myocardial infarction
an emergency caused by an acutely blocked coronary artery, leading to decreased oxygen supply to the heart and myocardial cell death [toggle]
Refractory period
