Cynthia A. Sanoski, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPSCynthia A. Sanoski, Pharm.D., FCCP, BCPS, is Associate Professor and Chair of the Department of Pharmacy Practice at the Jefferson School of Pharmacy at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio, Dr. Sanoski completed a two-year fellowship in cardiovascular pharmacotherapy at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy. A frequent national lecturer, Dr. Sanoski speaks on numerous topics in cardiovascular disease management, the majority of which have focused on the treatment of acute and chronic cardiac arrhythmias. She has published in a number of peer-reviewed journals, including Archives of Internal Medicine, Formulary, Pharmacotherapy, Chest, and Journal of Pharmacy Practice. She has also written several book chapters on the management of acute and chronic arrhythmias and medication-induced cardiovascular side effects. Dr. Sanoski is an active member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), American Society of Health-System Pharmacists, and the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy, for which she serves on several program and publications committees. She has previously served as Chair and Secretary of the Cardiology Practice and Research Network and Secretary-Treasurer of the Education & Training PRN. In 2007, Dr. Sanoski was elected as a fellow of the ACCP. She is currently Treasurer of ACCP and serves on the Board of Regents of this organization. While at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, she was awarded the University’s Faculty Special Recognition Award in 2003. In 2010, Dr. Sanoski was the recipient of the Duquesne University Distinguished Alumnus Award. |
