We look forward to welcoming you in December to the beautiful and exciting city of Orlando; home to Disney World, Universal Studios, and now the 43rd ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition. We are delighted you will be joining our exhibition to make this our best Midyear Meeting yet.

Orlando is more than just America's favorite family destination, it offers a world of championship golf courses, world-class spas, superb restaurants, captivating museum exhibitions and performing arts, and more than 1,200 retail shops and restaurants await you. Orlando is sure to have something for everyone to enjoy. Preparation is in full swing! The information provided in this newsletter will help you plan your visit to sunny Orlando.

New This Year!

The exhibit hall will close at 2PM on Wednesday, December 10. We listened to your advice in the exhibitor surveys and will be closing the hall an hour early on Wednesday.

Opening General Session

Join us Monday, December 8, from 9:00-10:30am to hear Elizabeth Edwards share her story of tragedy and triumph in this year's Opening General Session. Elizabeth is a passionate advocate for children, an accomplished attorney, and has been a tireless worker on behalf of important social causes. Diagnosed with breast cancer in 2004, Elizabeth was treated and has remained an activist for women's health and cancer patients. We invite all registered exhibitors to attend this must see event.

Exhibit In 2009 - and Improve Patient Health!

When you complete an exhibitor contract to participate in the 44th ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting & Exhibition, you will have a unique opportunity to help improve the health and well-being of hospitalized patients. ASHP is offering every exhibitor the opportunity to make a donation to the ASHP Foundation, which strives for appropriate, safe and effective medication. The Foundation funds medication-use research, provides specialized training to pharmacists who care for patients with complex medication regimens, such as those with cancer, and develops tools and resources to help health-system pharmacists to better care for patients.

Look on your exhibitor contract for information about how to give. Every company that gives to the ASHP Foundation will receive special recognition during the meeting and throughout the year. All donations are tax deductible.

Sponsorship and Corporate Support Packages

Reach your clients and support ASHP by sponsoring any of our highly visible meeting activities that we offer exclusively to exhibitors. Sponsors from past Midyear Meetings have boasted successful participation. Hotel Reservations

All reservations must be made through the Housing Connection. Click here to book a room or secure a sub block. All requests for 10 or more rooms require ASHP's prior approval. ALL Exhibitors MUST READ our Exhibitor Hotel Room Block Policies [PDF] prior to submitting the hotel reservation form.

Reminder: The Exhibit Hall closes at 2:00pm on Wednesday so please your block rooms responsibly!

Interactive Floorplan

Our Midyear Clinical Meeting interactive floorplan is now available. We know you will enjoy this new feature as it is now allows for real time updates! In addition, you can view and print the exhibitor list from the same page.

Online Service Kit

Your service kit is now available online. Be sure to take advantage of the early bird discounts, where applicable, by getting your order in before the November 21st deadline.
