ASHP’s 43rd Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition in Orlando is fast approaching! We are excited to bring our meeting to this fun filled city and even more thrilled you will be joining us.


Midyear Fun Facts! Did you know…

If Chicago’s Sears Tower, 1,454 feet in height, was placed on its side, it would fit lengthwise inside the Orange County Convention Center’s West exhibition space, including the antenna atop the Sears tower. The OCCC exhibition hall level is 2,500 feet in length and all eight halls are contiguous.


 

Exhibit Yellow Pages
ASHP is excited to offer this new opportunity to increase your company’s visibility to our meeting attendees. This low cost promotional tool allows meeting attendees to easily search for your company’s booth in print and electronically. Participating companies will have the ability to highlight their products and services by providing a 50 word description, a color logo, as well as, a clickable link to their company’s website on the interactive floorplan. Printed versions will be distributed outside of the exhibit hall and the electronic version will be hosted on the Midyear Clinical meeting website for one year. For more information, click here.

Important Badge Information
New for the Midyear! Client Badges
This opportunity, launched at our Summer Meeting in Seattle, will now be offered at the Midyear Clinical Meeting in Orlando. In addition to your regular customers, ASHP will offer exhibiting companies and opportunity to host their local business clients at no charge! These badges will allow your client access to the exhibit hall for the designated day only. Each exhibiting company will be offered ten (10) client badges for their local clients.

To take advantage of this offer, you will need to submit a complete list and include the following information: First Name, Last Name, Affiliation, Address and Email. Note: All information must be complete in order to process your client badges. This offer is exclusive to local clients and may not be used for additional booth personnel. No onsite additions will be accepted. You must email this list to Michelle Rasnick Tyler at mtyler@ashp.org by November 24.

If you would like to upgrade your client to a full day or full conference badge for the entire meeting, click here. These badges can be picked up at the attendee registration.


Exhibitor Badges
The exhibitor badge website is now open. To use this site, you must login with your ASHP Customer ID number and password.

Please use the email sent to you to find your User ID and Password.

Click here to request your exhibitor badges (for booth personnel and those requiring a full conference registration), make necessary edits/changes, and print confirmations as needed.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BADGES ARE NON-TRANSFERABLE. If you make changes to your exhibit personnel on-site, the new representative should be prepared to pay a fee of $75.00 for each badge. This does not pertain to changes made in advance of the meeting. The deadline for requesting exhibitor badges is November 24.

Hotel Reservations
A complete rooming list with names must be submitted to the Housing Connection by October 6. After this date, rooms without names will be released and requests for additional rooms will be based on availability.

Remember when booking flights that some airlines are now charging extra fees for excess baggage. Joining the airlines mileage program is usually the best way to avoid these fees. Be sure to check with your airline before booking.

Advance Space Selection for Midyear 2009
ASHP will again be using a priority point system onsite in Orlando for exhibitors to reserve booth space for the 44th ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and Exhibition, in Las Vegas, December 6-10, 2009. The number of Priority Points your company has accumulated determines your place in the selection schedule. The Top 20 exhibiting companies will be contacted in advance and pre-placed on the floorplan. More details will follow in November Newsletter.


ASHP AND THE COMMUNITY
ASHP will continue our commitment to helping others with a "Canstruction" project. This year, attendees at the Midyear Clinical Meeting will have the chance to donate canned food items which will be used to build Cinderella's Castle!
