We look forward to welcoming you in December to Anaheim. Centrally located in Orange County, Anaheim is an excellent starting point for all your OC adventures. The Anaheim area is served by three airports including, Los Angeles International, John Wayne and Long Beach. The Anaheim Convention Center and its immediate surroundings have also gone through several upgrades since ASHP's last visit. In addition to several renovations and improvements at the Convention Center itself, the brand new Anaheim GardenWalk adds multiple new dining and entertainment options! Preparation is in full swing! The information provided in this newsletter will help you plan your visit to this "must attend" meeting.

Important Dates
September 3  Exhibitor Service kit goes live on the ASHP website.
September 25  Exhibitor badge manager goes live on the ASHP website.
October 6  A complete rooming list with names must be submitted for all blocks held. Any rooms not reserved will be released. Requests for additional rooms will be based on availability. Cancellations after October 6, 2010 will be subject to a $50.00 cancellation processing fee, per reservation.

Thursday Networking Luncheon-Sponsorship Available
The Thursday Networking Luncheon is a highly successful event that attracts many attendees and exhibitors on the final day of the meeting. Mike Rayburn, our featured speaker, is known as the World's Funniest Guitar Virtuoso.  Rayburn uses his uproarious songs and world-class guitar work to put on a show unlike anything you have ever seen. Consider attending this event on Thursday, from 12:05PM-1:50PM. Tickets can be purchased, on a space available basis, at the registration desk for just $35!

Online Service Kit and Exhibitor Badges
Your service kit will be available on the ASHP Website on September 3.  Be sure to take advantage of the early bird discounts, where applicable, by getting your order in before the November 19 deadline. Exhibitor Badge information including your ID and password to enter the online badge site will be emailed to you in the September Newsletter. Exhibiting companies receive four complimentary full registration badges per 10 x10 booth reserved.

VIP Pre/Post Show Demos
ASHP is offering an exclusive opportunity for exhibitors to invite attendees for a private demo in your booth before and after official show hours. This will allow you time to schedule one-on-one appointments, individually or in groups, with your customers. New This Year, in order to continue to allow companies the opportunity to participate in provide private demos, ASHP has implemented a $3,500 fee to cover additional security, electricity and administrative costs related to conducting pre and post show demos. This fee covers all demo hours for the duration of the show. A list of meeting attendee names, along with the date and time must be provided prior to the meeting to Michelle Rasnick Tyler at mtyler@ashp.org. In addition, a company representative must escort attendees to and from your booth.

Pre Show Demo Hours:
Monday-Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.

Post Show Demo Hours:
Monday-Tuesday: 3:00 p.m. -5:00p.m.

Product Theaters
Product Theater slots are still available! These programs provide an opportunity for commercial organizations to present information about their product or services or therapeutic areas to pharmacists attending the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting. These are considered promotional and therefore, do not offer CE credit for attendance.

Hotel Reservations and Meeting Space Requests
