Transforming the Pharmacy Profession

The Henri R. Manasse, Jr. Legacy Fund is directly aligned with the ASHP and ASHP Foundation efforts to advance patient care by ensuring that pharmacists participate as the interdisciplinary team members who are accountable for patients’ medication outcomes. Funds raised will be prioritized by the Foundation Board of Directors for immediate use for research and education programs including practice tools and implementation models that can help drive practice advancement at the local health-system level.

The following companies provided support for the first phases of the PPMI, which included the November 2011 PPMI Summit, development of the Summit proceedings, hosting of a PPMI webinar-based journal club series, development of the Hospital Self-Assessment and a related ASHP State Affiliate Tool Kit, PPMI Complexity Index Panel activities, and the initial cycle of PPMI demonstration grants.
