Bill G. Felkey, M.S., is Professor Emeritus, Department of Pharmacy Care Systems, Harrison School of Pharmacy, Auburn University in Auburn, Alabama. His research interests focus on the creation of knowledge bases and the use of advanced technology in health care. Professor Felkey conducts research on “best of breed” examples of technologies and innovations that can be successfully implemented in health care systems and applied to pharmacy, physician, and nursing practices. Personal digital assistants are an important part of his research agenda. He consults regularly with health systems, computer vendors, and the wholesale pharmaceutical industry.
Professor Felkey received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Communication degree from the University of Maine and a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Technology degree from Indiana University. He has been at Auburn University since 1997, first as a Video Production Specialist and Instructor at the Department of Pharmacy Care Systems and later as Director of the Office of Instructional Design, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Care Systems.
Professor Felkey secured or assisted in delivering more than $5 million of funded research while at Auburn University. He has produced more than 1200 papers and presentations on computers, health system informatics, the use of technology in medical and pharmacy practice, and management and technology issues in health care. He has made presentations to professional audiences in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and more than a dozen foreign countries.
Professor Felkey is the founding editor of Computer Medicine for the Hospital Pharmacist and has received more than a dozen awards. In 1992, he received the International Interactive Communication Society award for Best Interactive Program. He co-developed PHOCUST (Pharmacist Opportunities in Compliance Using Skills Training), which received the 1993 H.A.B. Dunning Award from the American Pharmaceutical Association. Professor Felkey's other professional accomplishments include the Most Outstanding Faculty Member of the School of Pharmacy for 1996 and the Auburn University Outreach Ward for Excellence in 1997. In 2004, he was selected as the favorite seminar speaker in a national survey of pharmacists conducted by Drug Topics. He was preferred over Colin Powell, Rudy Giuliani, and Dick Cheney.
Sharon Murphy Enright, R.Ph., M.B.A.President

Sharon Murphy Enright, M.B.A., B.S.Pharm., has been a consultant to health care provider organizations, including hospitals, health systems, health plans, physician practice groups, long-term-care organizations, health care associations, group practice organizations, the investor community, and the pharmaceutical and device industries for more than 25 years. With a focus on leadership development, change management, strategic forecasting, quality and performance improvement, pharmaceutical marketing, and safety of the medication-use process, Ms. Enright has been a speaker for a host of health care audiences and is a frequent contributor to the professional literature. She has developed educational programming for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, case managers, and health care executives on a range of skills-based topics designed to drive change and transformation in health systems, hospitals, and managed care organizations.
Ms. Enright earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy in Storrs, Connecticut, and a Masters of Administration, Business and Behavioral Sciences degree from the George Washington University, Washington, D.C. She completed an ASHP executive residency in hospital pharmacy administration at Yale-New Haven Hospital and the ASHP Executive Residency. She subsequently served as the first ASHP Director of Membership Services and the first Director of the ASHP Division of Planning, Management, and Reimbursement. After leaving ASHP, she formed The Enright Group, an independent pharmacy consulting practice, which was acquired by Cardinal Health in 2000, where she headed pharmacy consulting services for the corporation. Ms. Enright recently served as Senior Manager with Ernst & Young's Health Science Advisory Services in Richmond, Virginia, with responsibility as national service line leader for managed care and Medicare Part D service offerings within the operations efficiency and pharmacy solutions practice. She is currently President of EnvisionChange LLC, Richmond, Virginia, focusing on skills-based training for leadership development, organizational transformation, and change management.
Ms. Enright has made numerous local, regional, national, and international presentations on a wide range of topics to pharmacy, physician, nursing, case manager, and quality improvement audiences in hospitals and managed care and long-term-care settings. She has published numerous articles on management topics in the health-system pharmacy literature and developed educational and training programs for multidisciplinary audiences.
Billy W. Woodward, B.S., R.Ph.Executive Director

Mr. Woodward currently owns his own consulting business, Renaissance Pharmacy Services, based in Temple, Texas. He contracted as a pharmacist consultant to Ernst and Young, LLP, in Dallas, Texas from 2004 until 2009. Mr. Woodward was employed for more than 25 years as Corporate Director of the Department of Pharmacy for the Scott and White Health System in Temple, Texas. His responsibilities included the development and direction of all pharmacy services for this large integrated health system located in central Texas. Prior to that, he served for 13 years as Director of Pharmacy, Central Services, and Materials Management at the Methodist Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
Mr. Woodward served as President of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists and a member of the Board of Directors of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). He also served two terms as chairman of the Board of Directors of the ASHP Research and Education Foundation. He is active internationally and served from 2002 through 2006 as treasurer of the hospital section of the International Pharmaceutical Federation.
Mr. Woodward has received numerous awards, including the 2004 Whitney Lecture Award, ASHP's highest award for health-system pharmacy. He has written numerous publications and lectured widely both nationally and internationally on topics of management, leadership, pharmacy systems, medication safety, and clinical practice in health systems, ambulatory clinics, and retail and managed care pharmacy.
Mr. Woodward obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin. He remains active in pharmacy as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Texas College of Pharmacy.
Michael D. Sanborn, M.S., R.Ph., FASHPCorporate Vice President

Michael D. Sanborn, M.S., R.Ph., FASHP, is Corporate Vice President of Cardiovascular Services for the Baylor Health Care System in Dallas, Texas. He oversees cardiac services for all Baylor entities, with a focus on improving patient outcomes, medication use, program development, marketing, clinical research, and contracting. Mr. Sanborn's previous experience includes pharmacy leadership positions in health systems and academic medical centers.
Mr. Sanborn received his Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in pharmacy from the University of Kansas. He also completed an accredited pharmacy practice residency and advanced administrative residency.
Mr. Sanborn has chaired the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) Council on Professional Affairs, served on the ASHP Council of Administrative Affairs and as a member of the ASHP House of Delegates, and held elected offices for several state and local societies. Most recently he completed a 2-year term as President of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He has received numerous awards and honors, including ASHP's Distinguished Leadership Award and the Harold N. Godwin Legacy Award.
