Sammuel V. Anderegg, Pharm.D., MS, BCPS

Samm Anderegg, Pharm.D., MS, BCPS is the Pharmacy Manager of Oncology and Ambulatory Care Services at Georgia Regents Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia and Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Samm grew up in Charles City, Iowa and graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Pharmacy. Dr. Anderegg completed his post-graduate residency training in a Health-System Pharmacy Administration program combined with a Masters in Health-System Pharmacy at the University of Kansas.

As a pharmacy administrator at Georgia Regents, Dr. Anderegg is responsible for oncology and ambulatory care operations, clinical services, revenue cycle management, co-manages specialty pharmacy services, and serves as secretary of the Oncology Pharmacy and Therapeutics Subcommittee. In his academic role, he lectures, participates in research, and precepts residents and students. Samm has been active in several professional pharmacy associations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists and Georgia Society of Health-System Pharmacists. He is also involved in national initiatives concerning health information technology. Dr. Anderegg serves as the chair of the Value Set Committee within the Pharmacy HIT Collaborative. The Collaborative is a coalition of pharmacy associations and their members working to ensure pharmacists’ role of providing direct patient care is integrated into the national HIT interoperable framework. In addition, Dr. Anderegg is co-creator of the mobile app, PACT (Pharmacy Ambulatory Care Intervention Tracker), designed for ambulatory care pharmacy documentation and intervention analytics.
